Located in the heart of Lakeside, Ohio,  Maxwell’s Hospitality House has welcomed guests since 1954.

Our Victorian home, built in 1886, features a wrap-around front porch, a wonderful place to read, relax, chat, and watch the world go by.  Enjoy the pace of Lakeside!  Hoover Auditorium is just across the street.  Programs almost nightly are included with your ticket.

Lake Erie and the famous Lakeside dock are a short walk away.  Shops, restaurants, lectures, seminars, movies, and programs are all only steps away from this beautiful Chautauqua.

Come for a weekend (two-night minimum) or a week, our best value.  In addition to the charm of the front porch, the living room with TV, games, piano, rockers, and comfort is available to all guests.
